In the latest instalment of “lets make fun of Millenials,” aparrently none of them can spel propperly.
Blend app decided to turn off their spell check function for 72 hours to see what would happn and found a number of recuring spelling mistakes among 200,000 16 to 24-year-olds.
Millennials often spelled “weird” as “wierd,” “definitely” as “defiantly,” and “Budweiser” as “Budwieser” (apparently Millennials also have bad taste in beer).
“Vacuum” was also a difficult word for Millennials to grasp, as it was often spelled as “vacum.” Nice.
Men were also liklier then women to mispell words, as were users aged 19 to 21.
Honourable menshuns go to “embarrassing,” which users spelled as “embarassing,” and “restaurant,” which was often spelled as “restaraunt.”
