'Mexifest' to take place in downtown Calgary from July 5 to 7

Calgary’s annual celebration Mexifest will showcase Mexican gastronomy, arts, music, and culture this week.

This year, Mexifest runs for three days (July 5 to 7) giving folks in YYC ample opportunity to get a true taste of Mexico in the heart of downtown Calgary at Eau Claire Market Plaza.

At the event, you can purchase ‘Mexifest Pesos’ and use them to purchase any of the food or drinks.

Expect two stages (one for dancers one for live bands), a wrestling ring with real luchadores from Mexico, an artisan market, and tons of authentic Mexican food.

Price: $15 per day or $30 for a full weekend pass
