McDonald's candles exist, but Canada is safe from the scents... for now

When you’ve been burning the candle at both ends, sometimes all you need is the comforting taste of the golden arches.

But, here to flip the script, McDonald’s is offering select fans an alternative solution: to burn the scent of a Quarter Pounder.

Ingredient-by-ingredient, or all at once.

Soon to launch in the USA through Golden Arches Unlimited, the Quarter Pounder Scented Candle Pack includes six candles scented for each of the iconic burger’s ingredients: bun, ketchup, pickle, cheese, onion, and beef.

Golden Arches Unltd.

The site recommends burning the candles together for “maximum deliciousness.”

While this new product by the fast-food chain is… intriguing… Canadians needn’t pull out their wallets or scrunch up their noses just yet.

“Right now, the focus of the debut of Golden Arches Unlimited is in the US, however, we look forward to potential expansion in other markets,” a spokesperson for McDonald’s told Daily Hive.

So while it’s possible these soy-wax-blend, essential-oil based, cotton-wick creations could eventually hit Canadian soil, their arrival is not nigh.

Maybe we’ll smell ya later, McDonald’s-scented candles.

But hopefully, we won’t.
