Made by Marcus employee tests positive for coronavirus

Popular local ice cream purveyor Made by Marcus has announced one of its employees has tested positive for COVID-19.
The staff member worked at the 17th Avenue location. As soon as the company received word on Wednesday, July 22, they shut down the store.
All close contacts of the affected individual were asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the employee’s last shift on July 17, and they’ve also received testing.

The 121-1013 17 Avenue shop is expected to be closed for at least a week. Made by Marcus’ other Calgary locations remain open and unaffected by this case.
