Victoria Park welcomed Ten Foot Henry, an inviting sit-down restaurant offering a range of all-day eating options, family-style dining, fair trade organic coffee, and a solid cocktail list, into its clutches earlier this year. Now the neighbourhood has a new foodie addition to visit thanks to Little Henry, Ten Foot Henry’s grab-and-go food and coffee shop.
Located next door to the recently opened Ten Foot Henry, Little Henry offers healthful meals and organic espresso to-go.
“We have noticed that our city is lacking healthful and wholesome quick service options. We want to provide busy Calgarians with something fast, healthy and delicious,” says co-owner Aja Lapointe. “We understand that people are pressed for time and lead very busy lives, but this shouldn’t mean they need to sacrifice quality.”
Co-owner Chef Steve Smee has crafted a wholesome and well-rounded menu that includes fresh small batch salads, classic sandwiches, gourmet soups, and an array of artisan pastries. The shop features organic and fair trade espresso sourced from The Roasterie, tea from The Naked Leaf, and cold-pressed juice from Juice Because.
Little Henry customers are able to grab their food and coffee to-go, or pull up a stool to enjoy this bright and quaint space designed by Connie Young. Little Henry is open from 10 am to 6 pm daily.
