Lil Tay returns to social media after weeks of silence
After weeks of social media silence, Lil Tay has made her return to Instagram, but this time she is showing a much softer, emotional side.
The nine-year-old Instagrammer — who is known for her profanity-laden videos and realtor mother who got fired from a Vancouver real estate firm — is mourning the loss of rapper XXXTentacion who was shot and killed in Florida on June 19.
Lil Tay posted photos of the rapper who she claims was a “father figure” and her “best friend.”
“X you truly changed me […] you were there for me when everyone wanted me to fail, you were there to give me advice, you were there,” she wrote on Instagram.
“As a father figure, when I don’t have one, you were here, FaceTiming me and calling me for hours when I’m down.”
Lil Tay also wrote that the two were planning a charity event together in Florida.
“Our Charity event […] how could it be, please come back X…Your soul is in my heart.”
On her Instagram story, Lil Tay can be seen crying about the death of her friend.

Lil Tay also wrote that she still wants to go ahead with the charity event that she was planning with the rapper.
“Xxxtentacion x Lil Tay Charity […] I will make it happen,” she wrote.
Looks like Lil Tay is rebranding herself as a positive social media figure instead of carrying on with the Instabrat persona.
