TCI/Tollestrup Group plans to build a 120-room hotel in the area, with construction set to begin in 2026. It will be the first full-service hotel in West Lethbridge. It will also include an extended-stay component designed for guests staying long-term.Â
“This investment represents our commitment to growth, community, and quality,” said Martie Murphy, CEO of Tollestrup Group, in a release. “We’re excited to help shape the future of West Lethbridge.”
Sherwood Developments Inc. and its partners, Avison Young Lethbridge and Silver Ridge Construction, will convert 11 acres into over 100,000 sq. ft. of mixed-use commercial space, making room for new businesses, services and amenities to serve West Lethbridge.Â
New residential development will also take place, with Cedar Ridge Homes contributing more than 450 residential units, including apartments, condos, and townhouses across 13 acres of land.
“Cedar Ridge Homes is very proud to be part of the Crossings Core development,” said Lonny Hoy, CEO of the Cedar Ridge Group, “The Crossings is the new heartbeat of West Lethbridge, and we’re excited to build a cutting-edge residential development unlike anything Lethbridge has seen previously.”
Finally, a new senior housing facility will be developed by Green Acres Foundation. It will offer seniors an affordable, independent living option, close to key amenities.
“This project helps create a community where seniors can live independently while staying closely connected to essential services,” said Dawna Coslovi, CEO of Green Acres Foundation.
The developments are in a prime location, situated next to two high schools, a leisure complex, and just off Whoop Up Drive.Â
