KISS, Moist and The Cult to headline Stampede Roundup 2016

Legendary American metal band KISS will headline Stampede Roundup 2016 on July 13 at Fort Calgary, it has been announced.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will appear alongside fellow headliners in the form of British rock veterans The Cult and Canadian alt-rockers Moist.

The Stampede Roundup is the largest private fundraiser of the Calgary Stampede, open only to the clients, tenants, staff, and family/ friends of event sponsors.

A password is required to purchase tickets, which cost $120 (plus taxes and service charges).

They include gate entry, free bus transportation to and from downtown, and Rotary’s famous Beef-on-a-Bun dinner with campfire beans, coleslaw, and fruit salad.

Working with the Rotary Club of Calgary, the Roundup uses the proceeds to fund a host of school, food and seniors programs. Last year they raised $225,000.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 26, although any one with the “Blakes Password” can buy tickets from April 19 to 25.
