The first ever Kindness Open charity golf tournament is coming to Canmore in September, to benefit low-income and homeless people in Calgary.
Proceeds from the tournament, which will be hosted at Silvertip Resort on September 13, will go to the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre.
Meanwhile, golfers will be able to enjoy the pleasure of an awesome day of fun on the links at one of the most beautiful and scenic courses in the Rockies.
The day will start with a hot breakfast at 9 am, followed by a shotgun start at 11 am. In the evening, golfers can attend a reception and dinner at the resort.
Registration to play is $195, and includes green fee, practice facilities, power cart, breakfast, and dinner.
The Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre is North America’s largest homeless shelter, serving more than 20,000 people in need each year.
