'K Town' is Calgary's new spot for Korean fried chicken and beer

While Calgary is in no shortage of awesome fried chicken spots, we will never say no to the chance to try a newly-opened one.

K Town Fried Chicken only opened a few weeks ago, and the new 910 Centre Street NW eatery introduces itself as Calgary’s only ‘chimaek’ experience, which is a pairing of fried chicken and beer common in South Korea.

Serving up a menu with eight varieties of fried chicken like Snowing Chicken (AKA grated asiago cheese, truffle oil, and parsley sprinkle), Green Onion & Cilantro, and the K-TOWN Signature kind to name a few — it’s no wonder the fresh joint has been a hit so far.

Other eats up for order include salads and sides like fries and rice balls, and of course, beer.

This spot is open Tuesday to Thursday from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 11 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm – be sure to try for yourself if you haven’t already!
