The 2016 Juno Awards Host Committee applied to the Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission (AGLC) for a temporary extension of liquor service during this weeks JUNO festivities in Calgary, and they got it.

“The extension will allow venues to showcase musical experiences a little longer during JUNO week,” Tatjana Laskovick, AGLC Communications Officer, told Calgary Buzz. “Additional hours will allow venues to stay open later with the main focus on celebrating local and national musical talent.”

The extension will allow participating venues to serve alcohol until 3 a.m. and the consumption is allowed until 4 a.m. The extension runs from Thursday, March 31 to Sunday, April 3.
