Answer: These people are now allowed to play Jeopardy! again.
Question: Who are Canadians?!

Yes, we Canucks can finally enter our favourite US game show again, after a season in the wilderness.

Canadians were barred from entering Jeopardy! last season after the show’s producers claimed to have issues registering Canadian contestants over the internet.

But earlier this month, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek finally gave us the answer we’ve all been looking for.

“I am pleased to report that the registration issue experienced by some of our Canadian contestant hopefuls last season has been rectified,” said Trebek in a statement.

“We look forward to seeing more of my fellow citizens from the north on the show soon.”

For those of you hoping to become the next Jeopardy! champion, you’ll need to sign up for the Online Contestant Test.

The College Online Test is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, while the Adult Online Test will take place October 4, 5, and 6.

According to CBS, around 1 million people have taken the Online Contestant Test since Jeopardy! began offering it in 2006.

“I always say the contestants are the real stars of Jeopardy!,” said Trebek. “I encourage those of you who enjoy playing along at home to try out for the show.”
