Feel like some exercise – and a getaway to the Rockies? Jasper will host its first ever half marathon on April 16, so get your running shoes on!
If you’re not up for the full Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon, there will also be 10K and 5K races, as well as a 1K family run – and all entrants get a finisher medal.
The top three finishers in the half could win between $150 and $500, while there will also be award medals for the top three finishers in each 10 year age group of the half, 10K and 5K.
Participants will get post race snacks and entry into a raffle for a range of prizes, and can also purchase a ticket for extra access to a post-race meal and celebration.
Race entry costs between $25 and $100 depending on distance. Proceeds will go to support Ronald McDonald House of Northern Alberta.
Registration closes on Thursday, April 14 at 6 p.m.
