Ironman 70.3 is finally coming back to Calgary

One of the world’s most scenic triathlons is finally hitting Calgary on July 24.

The popular Ironman 70.3 will play host to a number of participants looking to push their limits. Participants will enjoy the scenic experience that includes the beautiful waters of Auburn Bay against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.

Get ready to bike through intense foothills, paying witness to the open prairies and ranch country. Challenge yourself by running through the valleys of the Glenmore Reservoir and Weaselhead Natural Area for the perfect fusion of nature and big city energy.

In total, Calgary’s Ironman 70.3 will include a 1.9 kilometre swim, 90 kilometre bike, and a 21.1 kilometre run. Participants will begin the swim at Auburn Bay at 7 a.m., rain or shine.

Price: Currently $225 to register, increasing to $250 on April 1 – register online
