Dec 19 2017, 11:13 am

Find you favourite green shirt and get ready to spend some time toasting to the lucky Irish on St. Patrick’s Day 2016. There are several Irish pubs in Calgary that have got plenty going on from first thing in the morning to the late-night hours, including traditional dancers, live music, great drink specials, and lots of opportunities to celebrate this fun holiday.

Here are 10 Irish pubs in Calgary for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.

St. James Corner

Get started celebrating the luck of the Irish early on the 17th with a visit to St. James Corner, where they are kicking off the holiday with a $6.99 Irish breakfast, $4 pints of Guinness, and live entertainment from 10 to 11 a.m. Tickets must be secured in advance, and can be purchased any time up until Wednesday night. Of course, if you’re not lucky enough to get the whole day off, head to the pub after work and hoist a pint or two (responsibly!) in honour of the day. St. James Corner is the only YYC pub certified by Guinness for doing a perfect pour.
