Insane Inflatable 5K coming to Calgary this September

If you dream of returning to a simpler time of bouncy castles and giant slides, you maybe want to bounce down to the Insane Inflatable 5K in Calgary this September.

The run across a range of inflatable obstacles will take place at Spruce Meadows on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.

The course begins with “Let’s Go,” an inflatable ramp which you must climb up then slide down to hit the race bouncing.

Next up is the Crash Course, full of hanging obstacles, and peaks and valleys to throw you off balance, and the Slingshot, involving hills and tunnel slides.

A whole host of bouncy obstacles follows, and we won’t list them all, but let your imaginations run wild over names like The Mad House, Big Balls and The Humps.

Anyone can enter, but registration is selling out fast. To bounce on Saturday you’ll need to buy an all access pass for $125; cheaper spots for around $80 are still available on Sunday.

Registration includes a custom t-shirt, medal and runners bib. Spectators go free.
