Most of this summer’s events may have been cancelled due to COVID-19, but there are still a few fun things to do if you know where to look.
Inglewood has been throwing some physically-distanced bashes throughout this summer, most notably their Movies Under the Stars events at Gopher Park.

The greenspace only allows for 50 attendees at a time, but if you can snag yourself a spot you’re in for a picturesque night — weather permitting, of course.
The organizers of the events, the Inglewood Business Improvement Area, have announced the August lineup of movies that it plans to screen throughout the remainder of the summer.
According to the release, Calgarians will be able to catch Spinal Tap on Saturday, August 1, The Big Lebowski on Saturday, August 15, and White Men Can’t Jump on Saturday, August 29.
The showings are all free to attend and comfy chairs are provided — so we’d suggest aiming to get there a little early in order to secure yourself a seat.
All showing start at 9:15 pm.
