It’s time to hunt down some treasure.
On Saturday, May 25, Calgarians will be able to partake in the eighth Annual Inglewood Parade of Garage Sales, the one day a year that the Inglewood Community Association organizes the sale of used goods throughout the neighbourhood.

Those hoping to get rid of their old stuff (and make a buck or two while they’re at it) can register to take part in the event as a seller, which will add their location to the online map that buyers will be able to access via an app or on printed copies.
If you don’t happen to have your very own garage, no worries! You can still sell some of your old stuff by registering for the Inglewood Community Hall Trunk Sale, which will take place on the same day in the building’s parking lot.
Registration is currently available and ends on Tuesday, May 21 — though it should be noted that spots are limited and it will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registering for the trunk sale costs $10 for non-members and gets you a table in the parking lot. Registering as an individual house costs $15 for non-members and puts you on the map.
The event is expected to run from 9 am to 3 pm, though if we know anything about garage sales, we’d suggest starting the hunt early if you want to snag some of the better finds!
