How to watch tonight's paywalled Calgary Flames game

Nov 2 2026, 1:00 pm

For the second straight Monday, the Calgary Flames game will not be on TV.

Calgary made their Monday Night Hockey debut on Sportsnet+ last week against the Toronto Maple Leafs, which drew some pushback from fans. They’ll return to the streaming service tonight for their game against Macklin Celebrini and the San Jose Sharks.

That means that fans will have no luck finding the matchup in its usual spot on the TV guide.

To watch, fans will need to subscribe to Sportsnet+ and stream the game. Those who subscribe to Sportsnet through their TV providers will need to pay an extra $12.99 a month to access the streaming-only content.

Non-TV subscribers will need a Sportsnet+ subscription, which will run $34.99 per month or $269.99 per year. The only fans who won’t need to pay extra for tonight’s game are Rogers Xfinity TV customers with Sportsnet.

This will be the second of eight games that will be shown exclusively on Sportsnet+ this season. The other games will be as follows:

  • Nov 23: Flames vs. Ottawa Senators
  • Jan. 18: Flames vs. Chicago Blackhawks
  • Feb. 1: Flames vs. Vegas Golden Knights
  • Feb. 15: Flames vs. LA Kings
  • Mar. 15: Flames vs. Nashville Predators
  • Apr. 5: Flames vs. Edmonton Oilers

Those Monday night games won’t be the only games that Flames fans will need an extra subscription for. Prime Video will have the exclusive broadcasting rights for a select number of Wednesday Night Hockey games, which will require fans to have a subscription to the streaming giant.

While this has caused some frustration among fans, Sportsnet did tell Offside that the network is actively working with other Canadian distribution partners to give TV subscribers additional options to access Sportsnet+.

Puck drop against the Sharks is set for 8 p.m. MDT.
