Hidden Gems Film Festival 2016 bringing India to Calgary

The annual Hidden Gems Film Festival will be celebrating the theme of women in India this year when it opens in Calgary this May.

The festival will present screenings of several Indian films, including Partu (One Who Comes Back), to be attended by director Nitin Adsul, and the Canadian premiere of Ottaal (Trap).

Other movies include Bengali film RajKahini (Tale of the Raj), Kothanodi (River of Fables), Bela sheshe (In the Autumn of Life), Parched, Radiopetti and Angry Indian Goddesses.
