Guy Fieri is officially hosting the 2019 Cowboys Cook-off Barbecue Invitational

If you love taking trips to Flavourtown and you don’t care who knows it, then get ready to be very excited.

Iconic American television personality Guy Fieri will officially be hitting up the Calgary Stampede this year.

The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host will be on the mic during the Cowboys Cook-off Barbecue Invitational on July 11.

This is the second this annual event will run. Kicking off at the Cowboys Music Festival Tent at noon.

Local foodies, backyard BBQ masters, and top chefs will all compete to make their best pork and beef ribs.

Contestants will be judged in four categories: Best Beef, Best Pork, Most Unique Flavour, and Best Team Spirit.

The official Mayor of Flavourtown and top BBQ Smoke Pit Master will be on site to host, and you’re not going to want to miss this.
