Pump it up: Gas prices are plunging in Alberta today
If you’re a driver in Alberta who’s been putting off filling your gas tank, there’s some good news: prices are set to take a plunge.
According to gas price analyst site Gas Wizard, prices are expected to decrease in Alberta’s major cities today.
On Tuesday, November 12, regular gas prices in Edmonton will drop by six cents to $1.28 per litre, while premium gas prices will dip five cents to $1.58.
Diesel prices in YEG are also expected to fall slightly, decreasing two cents to $1.53 per litre.

Meanwhile, in Calgary, fuel prices aren’t expected to dip as low as in Edmonton. Regular gas in YYC will drop three cents to $1.37 per litre today, while premium isn’t expected to see a price change.

Diesel prices are expected to dip two cents to $1.57 per litre in Calgary, according to Gas Wizard.
