Sweet relief: Gas prices eyeing a drop in Alberta tomorrow
If you’re a driver in Alberta, you may want to hold off on filling up your gas tank, as prices are set to dip at the pumps tomorrow.
According to gas price analyst site Gas Wizard, prices are expected to decrease in Alberta’s major cities tomorrow.
On Thursday, December 19, regular gas prices in Calgary will drop by two cents to $1.37 per litre, and premium gas prices will dip two cents to $1.67.

Meanwhile, in Edmonton, fuel prices will dip by one cent, with diesel prices set to increase. Regular gas will drop to $1.29 per litre tomorrow, and premium gas will drop to $1.57 per litre.
Diesel prices are expected to rise by three cents to $1.53 per litre in YEG, according to Gas Wizard.

So, unless you’re an Edmontonian with a diesel vehicle, you may want to wait a bit before filling your gas tank. With the holidays just around the corner, your bank account will surely appreciate the extra dough you saved at the gas station!
