West Edmonton Mall's amusement park set to open this month

Galaxyland at the West Edmonton Mall is set to reopen on October 8 after being closed for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The amusement park inside the mall will have several new coronavirus safety measures in place, including mandatory face masks, one-way walking throughout the park, mandatory hand sanitizer upon entering, and limited park capacity.

Only rides that can safely comply with coronavirus precautions will be open. The ones guests can try during the pandemic include the auto sled, the carousel, and the cosmic spinner.

Tickets to the reopened attraction cost $30, and are available online.
