Discount flight service Frontier Airlines has just added a whole bunch of new flights between participating airports, including YYC.
According to a release from Frontier, 15 new routes have been added to the airline’s service, most notably three new routes to and from Las Vegas.
- You can fly from Calgary to Maui for $475 roundtrip next winter
- You can purchase discounted Calgary Stampede transit passes right now
- Ferrari gets roasted again after failing to identify Canadian maple leaf ahead of Grand Prix
While Calgary International Airport already had a connection to Las Vegas through Frontier Airlines, the announcement included details on increased service between the two hubs.
As of August 15, the airline will be adding Wednesday and Saturday weekly service in addition to the already operating Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday flights aboard Airbus A320. The flights will leave Vegas at 10:30 am and arrive in Calgary at 2:13 pm. They will leave Calgary at 3:08 pm and land in Las Vegas again at 4:55 pm.
“These additional fifteen routes are the latest evidence of Frontier’s commitment to make air travel more affordable across the United States,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines, in the release.
“We’re offering not only amazing low fares, but a reliable and friendly service that allows customers to customize their travel experience to their needs and budget.”
One way trips between Calgary and Las Vegas are showing up at anywhere between $38 and $188, so if you’ve got a flexible schedule you should be able to find some inexpensive deals for that next big trip down to Sin City.
