It’s hard to resist a pile of fluffy pancakes. Stacked up and oozing with syrup, this comfort food classic tastes great any time of day or year.
Tuesday, March 8 marks National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants, and across North America, they’ll be giving away free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes.
The National Pancake Day event is actually a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Networkk and their local hospitals, so guests who come in for the free pancakes are urged to leave a donation. The fundraiser is in its 11th year, and the California-based company hopes to raise $3.5 million for charity this year.
