You’re invited out to a celebration of the community next month.

The Glenbow Museum, with support from Chevron Canada, is throwing their seventh annual Community Day event on Sunday, March 1 and inviting Calgarians and visitors out to see their stunning works of art for FREE.

The event will run from 9 am to 5 pm, with featured exhibits including works by Vivian Maier, Maxwell Bates, Ron Moppett, Kent Monkman, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to visit on Community Day by taking public transportation, as the Glenbow Museum is located just one block south from the LRT line’s City Hall station.

Those who drive out to the museum may have to pay $2 to $6 at a City of Calgary ParkPlus location for the day, though there is some free street parking on the surrounding avenues.

Coat check will be available (also for free) on arrival and will be able to accommodate backpacks and other large bags.
