Fly from Calgary to California for less than $300 roundtrip this winter

California just got that much closer.

The warm west coast of the US of A might technically be within driving distance (if you’ve got about 20+ hours and a few tanks of gas to spare) but that trip can be cut down to just three hours by plane — and there are currently some serious deals to take advantage of.

According to the flight deal-finding experts over at YYC Deals, trips from Calgary International Airport down south to both San Francisco and San Diego are going for less than $300.

That’s nonstop, roundtrip, FYI.

The flights are being offered through Westjet, and are available for a handful of dates throughout the winter and spring.

San Diego flights look to be coming in at around $298, while San Francisco is a bit cheaper at $277 — though date options are limited to April, May, and June for the latter.

Seeing as Calgary is about to see a week stuck in the -20s, we’d suggest a warm trip down south sooner rather than later.

You should find something in the $277 to $300 range, which is quite the steal considering similar flights usually go for closer to $400-500.
