The first weekend of October is looking like a warm one for Calgary

We’re looking at sunny skies ahead.

The fall of 2020 continues to be an exceptionally nice one (at least as far as the weather is concerned) with warm days and clear skies on the horizon for the first weekend of October.

The Weather Network’s weekend forecast shows that the next three days will feature highs of 21Ā°C, crisp, cool nights, and, unfortunately, a little bit of rain to end it all off.

But before we get to that, we’ll first see Thursday come in with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 19Ā°C.

Friday continues that daytime high though without a cloud in sight — a forecast nearly identically echoed by Saturday, October 3.

Sunday’s the real mixed bag, as it will start off strong with the aforementioned high of 21Ā°C — the warmest Calgarians can expect for the whole weekend.

However, the tail end of the day is expected to see a turn of events, with Sunday bringing roughly 1 to 3 mm of rainfall throughout that night.

A few showers will start in the evening with a possibility of precipitation at 70%, then Sunday night is forecast to see a light rain, also at 70%.

Given that this time last year saw us under a few solid inches of snow, we’ll take the light rainfall and mostly sunny weekend, thank you very much!
