There are plenty of events around Calgary where you’re encouraged to be as creative as possible with your outfit, and a bunch of them are happening this weekend!

The Beverley Thrillbillies Halloween Bash

Throw on your scariest costume and your best dancing shoes to join The Beverley Thrillbillies for a rockin’ Halloween Bash. Mike Lownsbrough and his band will keep you entertained with their unique brand of Rockabilly music with a dash of Outlaw Country to boot.

Halloween Movie Marathon by CUFF

The Calgary Underground Film Festival is hosting a 12-hour long horror movie marathon spanning seven different titles. There will be giveaways and prizes throughout the night, so the movies aren’t completely non-stop, and there will be a costume contest at midnight.

When: Saturday, October 27 to Sunday, October 28
Time: Doors at 6 pm, show from 7 pm to 7 am

Paranormal Halloween Party

Discover the supernatural at the Rose & Crown Pub’s Halloween Party this Sunday for a night that will feature ghosts, drinks, and psychic readings. Ghost Hunt Alberta will be on hand to investigate the pub for any signs of departed souls.

Telus Spark Halloween Party 2018

What: The Adults-Only Night at Telus Spark is a little different this month. Instead of taking place on the second Thursday like they do any other month of the year, this October’s event will be held on October 27 — just in time for a little Halloween celebration.

The Spark Halloween Party will be held at a converted Telus Spark, deemed a “mad science lab of horror” by the museum’s website.

Walk the YYC’s Dine and Dash: Boos and Booze Edition

What: Begin your night at the Bank and Baron and enjoy a spooky drink and three-course meal at the Vault. After dinner, you’ll get a tour of the city from the dark side in an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt. Prepare to be spooked!
