One of Calgary’s most Instagrammable art galleries has reopened to the public as of today.

Contemporary art gallery the Esker Foundation announced its reopening through an Instagram post on Tuesday, July 7, stating that those hoping to visit the gallery could do so by pre-booking on its website.

The solo exhibition by Katie Ohe has been extended to August 29, the post states, and a number of new protocols have been put into place to ensure the safety of visitors and staff members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These measures include limited occupancy, physical distancing, and enhanced cleaning procedures.

Attendance remains free for all who would like to enjoy the exhibits, though visitors are expected to wear a mask and sanitize their hands while within the building.

Bookings are currently available for Wednesdays through Saturdays, and private bookings are a possibility for those who are immunocompromised or identify as high-risk — those bookings can be made by calling 403-930-2490.

There will be no interactive artwork available.
