Alberta is fertile ground for talented musicians and, to show off the spoils of the land, Electric Eye Music Festival is bringing in more than 50 bands to Lethbridge over five exciting days.
Held from May 11 to May 15, the festival runs out of various venues throughout downtown, like Owl Acoustic Lounge and Attainable Records. The showcase will feature a stacked lineup of local up-and-coming independent artists, as well as those from across Western Canada, in a wide range of genres.
Some of the performing artists include electronic duo ANZU and psychedelic garage band Betrayers (both from Edmonton); Lethbridge’s Bummer Club and Fist City; from B.C., Victoria’s female-fronted punks Durban Poison and Vancouver’s Johnny De Courcy; and, from Calgary, pop-rockers Lab Coast.
