Calgary-based job website waives fees during coronavirus pandemic

Calgary-based job site Edad Jobs has waived any and all fees for its users across Canada to assist those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The website was originally designed for gig workers and freelancers, allowing potential customers to seek out workers based on their needs, and letting job seekers find posts looking for specific services.

Tutoring, courier service, house painting, and moving were all among the top requests from customers.

Edad Jobs usually takes a 10% fee from online payments but has waived that fee to open the site up to more volunteer posts to assist individuals in need of low-cost or free deliveries, heating and plumbing issues, childcare, and more.

Signing up is easy and free and will show you jobs and workers available near you geographically.
