Calling all animal lovers!
The Parkdale Community Association has put together a festival just for pet owners and their furry (or not so furry) friends, as the Parkdale PetFest will feature vendors that cater to all sorts of animal companions.

Included at the one-day event will be Fairplay Pet Supplies, Doodle Dogs YYC, Montgomery Village Veterinary Clinic and Dekens Housecall Services, Heads and Tails Photography, and many more.
To kick things off on the right paw, the festival will be hosting an adorable wiener dog race that will see the low-flying pups attempting to take home top spot.
There will also be a pet costume contest, food trucks, and other activities to enjoy.
So whether you have your own pet or just want to be surrounded by all the adorable animals that you know will be on scene, this is not an event you want to miss.
PetFest will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, September 7, is free to attend, and will be held at the Parkdale Community Association.
