One of Calgary’s most exclusive summer dining events has just revealed its 2026 date, and you’ll want to mark your calendars stat.
Dîner en Blanc, the super-secretive open-air dinner, will be returning to YYC for its 13th year, with a magical evening on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Each year, the event is held in a new secret location, where dozens of diners show up in pure white outfits (no beige, no cream) for the celebration of both fashion and gastronomy.
As an addition for 2026, the theme is Une Soirée Parisienne – La Belle Époque, with tables styled in pure monochrome and the dining experience drawing on the traditions of French gastronomy.
For those looking to attend, they’ll need to bring a table, two white chairs, a white tablecloth and two white serviettes, as well as a gourmet picnic basket with proper stemware and white dinnerware.

However, if you’re looking to travel lighter, guests are able to reserve spots that have tables and chairs included or order a catered basket online. While diners are not able to bring their own alcohol, wine and champagne can also be pre-ordered from DĂ®ner en Blanc.
Registration takes place in three phases: the first is for members, the second is for friends of members, and the third is for those who wish to be added to the waitlist.
Interest for first-timers can be registered on DĂ®ner en Blanc’s website.
