The infamous Parisian affair took over Calgary’s St. Patrick’s Island last night and the evening was no short of surprises with mother nature making quite the splash.
The event went on despite the showers, as Calgarians have come to know summer 2016 to be a bit wetter than usual.
Ponchos and umbrella’s were on hand (clear or white of course) and the sun did come out a few times making for an enjoyable and memorable night.
The traditional waving of the cloth napkins started the dinner portion of the night and the en masse lighting of sparklers to kick off the dance part. Local Calgary restaurant Market provided delicious meals for those who opted for a cooked meal.
The night was elegant, fun, magical and great for social media.
