The CPKC Holiday Train has made it to Alberta and here are all of its stops

The CPKC Holiday Train is now rolling through Alberta, bringing lights, music and festive cheer to communities across the province.

Each year, the brightly decorated train winds its way across Canada and the United States, raising food and cash donations for local food banks. It has become a much-loved tradition, drawing crowds who gather to take in the music and festive cheer.

This year’s Canadian tour will visit six provinces and 13 states, with free concerts at every stop and a wicked lineup that features the Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth, Tyler Shaw and Brittany Kennell.

Nearly two dozen Alberta communities will welcome the train this season, including Calgary, Camrose, Lethbridge and Lacombe.

Here are the upcoming Alberta locations and dates for the 2025 Holiday Train:

Monday, Dec. 8 

• Arrives in Camrose at 1 p.m.
• Arrives in Wetaskiwin at 3:30 p.m.
• Arrives in Ponoka at 5:15 p.m.
• Arrives in Lacombe at 7 p.m.
• Arrives in Blackfalds at 8:15 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

• Arrives in Innisfail at 12:55 p.m.
• Arrives in Olds at 2:30 p.m.
• Arrives in Didsbury at 3:45 p.m.
• Arrives in Airdrie at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 12

• Arrives in Calgary at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 13

• Arrives in Okotoks at 12:15 p.m.
• Arrives in Blackie at 1:45 p.m.
• Arrives in Vulcan at 3:30 p.m.
• Arrives in Lethbridge at 7:15 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 14

• Arrives in Fort MacLeod at 9:20 a.m.
• Arrives in Pincher Creek at 10:45 a.m.
• Arrives in Coleman at 12:45 p.m.

• Arrives in Medicine Hat at 3:15 p.m.
