Come by the Anderson C-Train Station tonight to witness the CP Holiday Train, lit up in gorgeous Christmas lights from top to bottom and all along the sides.
The beautiful Christmas train will safely pull into the front of the crowd and a band will start playing their first song after the stage door opens. Once the band finishes there will be a short presentation with local food bank officials and other dignitaries before the band continues with a mixture of both traditional and classical songs.
Performing for this year’s CP Holiday Train is Kelly Prescott, Devin Cuddy, and Jim Cuddy. Learn more about each performer here.
Every year the Holiday Train travels through dozens of communities raising food and cash donations for North American food banks. There are only two Holiday Trains; the US Holiday Train and the Canada Holiday Train. Both started their journey off at Montreal.
The concerts are always free but people are encouraged to bring a food donation for the local food bank – either a cash donation or a non-perishable food item. Every item that is contributed will stay within the community.
