An update from the Province of Alberta has supplied new info on coronavirus cases in the province.
According to Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw, there have been just 20 new cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of known cases to 7,453.
However, of that total, only 440 are still active.

Hinshaw also noted that there are a total of 31 coronavirus-related hospitalizations — down by 22 compared to Friday’s total.
The province states that the number is considered low and the number of ICU admissions is at seven.
There was also one new death over the past 24 hours, bringing the total coronavirus-related deaths to 151 in Alberta.
Of those deaths, 111 were in the Calgary zone, 16 in the north zone, 13 in the Edmonton zone, 10 in the South zone, and one in the Central zone.
To date, over 340,000 tests have been completed in the province, 3,462 of which were completed over the past 24 hours.
