Cool street art pops up in Calgary

Dec 19 2017, 10:53 am

Famous Vancouver street artist, iHeart, set his sights on Calgary this Christmas and put up three amazing pieces of street art for the YYC to enjoy (before the city crews buff them).

For those unfamiliar with his work, his work “Nobody Likes Me” was rated the second best piece of street art in the world in 2014.

While in Calgary he collaborated with Calgary’s own legendary street artist, Grominator. The two have worked in the past, most recently for this beautiful piece along Vancouver’s Stanley Park seawall.

Here iHeart collaborated with one of his favourite artists, earthfolk. You find this piece (do it before the City of Calgary cleans it up) under the bridge on 14th Street.

Selfie sticks are so hawt right now. You can find this one at Lindsay Park.

This one is titled “Beating the Buff” a collaboration with Calgary’s very own Grominator. You can find this one under the 9th street bridge.
