Converse dropped new waterproof Chuck Taylors just in time for winter
Last fall, Converse first unveiled their Counter Climate Boot Collection – taking the classic Chucks sneaker design and turning it into a waterproof sneaker boot, complete with water repellent canvas, rubber, leather, and neoprene sleeve.
Now they’re back with new designs, premium materials, and a durable construction to help keep you comfortable, warm, and dry.
This new collection, timed perfectly for the cold and wet weather on its way, is aimed to better suit against the elements and features waterproof Nubuck leather, a neoprene bootie, and gusset tongue. It also has a lugged sole for added traction – perfect for those slushy Canadian winters.
The unisex boot is available in Black, Sangria, Mason, and Raw Sugar, while the women’s boot comes in Black, Midnight Navy, Brown, and Malt. Both retail for $150 online at the new converse.ca or select stores across Canada.
If you’re tired of ruining your sneakers every winter but still want to rock a pair of fly kicks, we recommend snagging a pair of these for yourself.
After all, winter is coming. And Converse would never leave you out in the cold.
