Converse debuts Shield Canvas: The Chucks you'll want to wear when it's wet out
We’ve all been there: you want to wear your Chucks at any point for any occasion, except when the weather’s being a damper on your style.
Fear no more. Converse has a solution, and they’ve just debuted it taking mother nature head-on this fall season. Meet the Chuck Taylor All Star II Shield Canvas (or the “weather resistant Chucks”), the sneaker with water repellent canvas and waterproof neoprene.
The new sneaker brings the enhanced comfort of the Chuck II, like the Nike Lunarlon sockliner and padded tongue, with materials to withstand most climate challenges. They’ve also removed the eyelets to make a durable shoe that’ll have you covered for wet and rainy adventures – you might even want to jump through puddles with them. And for added safety, the heel features reflective webbing for low light environments.
