Clay Pot Rice to celebrate grand opening in Calgary this weekend

Calgary’s first clay pot restaurant, Clay Pot Rice, is officially opening this weekend.

The 4515 Macleod Trail SW spot specializes in traditional Chinese clay pot dishes and also serves up an array of beverages such as boba and beer.

If this sounds like your average restaurant, we’re here to say it’s not, as Clay Pot Rice delivers patrons their food via robots. Wild, we know.

To celebrate its official grand opening weekend, Clay Rice Pot will be offering some deals, including half-price Chicken Wings and Shu Mai and 25% off beer, along with a free ice tea with every purchase of Clay Pot Rice.
