Chinook Centre started off the holidays in style.

Their first-ever tree lighting ceremony drew quite the crowd, as people gathered to watch the 38-foot tall Christmas tree come to light.

The tree lighting was accompanied by music from Choir, Choir, Choir! along with other bright displays for Calgarians to enjoy – including a picture perfect light tunnel.

If you couldn’t make it out to yesterday’s event, the gigantic tree will remain at Chinook Centre’s Centre Court throughout the holidays.
