Driving around and admiring holiday displays is a terrific way to get some family time in, and one house east of Calgary has the wildest display of Minions we have ever seen.
Nestled on a street in the city of Chestermere, just east of Calgary, is a home with not just a few, but 76 inflatable minions on display, many decked out with Santa Claus hats, along with a 14-foot-tall inflatable Santa.

For those who aren’t familiar, Minions are a fictional all-male species of yellow creatures that appear in Illumination’s Despicable Me franchise, and are known and beloved by many for their mannerisms and language.
Daily Hive spoke with Shelley Scharf, the owner of the home, who says the display has been growing in size over the last six years or so, with her next-door neighbour lending some of their front lawn to accommodate the expanding Minions display.

Scharf added that the display is in honour of her only daughter, Amanda, who passed away in 2016.
“During her life, she made it her mission to make people smile. I am keeping her memory alive, and what better way than with Minions, which she loved,” she said, and she would be happy if people would stop by and leave with a little bit of joy from seeing the display.

The display, located at 239 Westchester Way in Chestermere, is up and running nightly; however, minions will not be inflated during strong winds or extreme weather.
