Chasing Summer, Western Canada’s largest EDM festival, returns to Calgary for its fourth year this summer on July 30 and 31 at a new location, and it’ll be headlined by Martin Garrix and Hardwell, Live Nation announced today.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome two of the world’s top three ranked DJs to Chasing Summer 2016, including the Calgary debut of Martin Garrix and the triumphant return of Hardwell,” Harvey Cohen, festival producer, said in a statement. “To complement our headliners, we have some of the hottest artists in the world currently with the likes of The Chainsmokers, Galantis, and Marshmello.”
Last year’s festival attendance was over 33,750, which saw a huge boost in sales since its debut year in 2013. And after outgrowing its previous space, the festival is making the move to Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds.
