Over $2,000 in prizing in our first 12 Days of Giveaways

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Most people are celebrating something festive over the next month, and whether you say “Merry Christmas,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Happy Hanukkah,” “Happy Holidays,” or “bag humbug,” we’ve got something to cheer about.

Since launching Calgary Buzz back in June, the response has been fantastic. We’ve learned a lot about what you want to see, and we’re tailoring the publication more to suit your needs.

Over at our sister site, Vancity Buzz, we’ve been running an annual 12 Days of Giveaways campaign each year since 2010 – and this year we’re bringing it to Calgary too!

Starting Thursday, December 3, we’ll be launching contests daily, our way to say thank you to all of you have have been following us since June to those who are first time readers. We’ve got big things planned for 2016 and can’t wait to share them with you.

How it works

Each giveaway will run until 11:59 p.m. on ~~December 14~~ December 16, and the following day we’ll randomly draw names from all the entrants to announce all winners in one major post on December 18.

The prizes have something that appeals to everyone: gift cards, electronics, experiences, tasty treats, and more.

What you need to do

Come back and visit the site daily until December 14. We’ll be updating this post each day, so bookmark it and come back to see what new giveaways we’ve launched.
