Symphony Sundays for kids presents Carnival of the Dinosaurs Calgary

Dec 19 2017, 11:23 am

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is hosting Symphony Sundays for kids: Carnival of the Dinosaurs. Jay Ingram is narrating the story and Adam Johnson is leading the band to take you on journey back in time to the Jurassic world. Let Ingram, Calgary’s Beakerhead co-founder and science broadcaster, bring the story of dinosaurs alive to the music of Canadian composer Dean Burry.

An instrument discovery zoo will be held in the lobby prior to the show at 2 p.m. Musicians will be set up for children to touch, play and interact with the instruments. As your children play in the zoo, pre-concert entertainment will be provided by The Dixie Knights.
