Hosted by Cintas Canada Ltd, this annual list aims to shine a spotlight on washrooms across the country that have that certain je ne sais quoi.

In 2018, the restroom of a Honda dealership in St. Albert, AB, took the top spot on the list, while top-tier eateries like Vancouver’s Anh and Chi and Toronto’s Oretta made the shortlist.

Other top bathroom nominees from last year included the Saskatchewan Science Centre in Regina, SK, and a restroom in Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga, ON.

Back for another year, this list is asking the Canadian public to help nominate “elegant, eclectic, or downright quirky” non-residential bathrooms that are “inviting” and “memorable.”

In order for a nominated restroom to be considered, the business owner or an authorized representative of the owner must approve, after that, the final restrooms are chosen by a committee, judged, and selected.

Five finalists will be announced on June 17, 2019, and then folks can vote online to choose the winner, which will be announced in the fall.

So there you have it, if you know a restroom that’s truly an under-the-radar MVP, be sure to nominate.
