Until Friday, March 11, the City of Calgary and Out Loud YYC, the 2016 JUNO Awards Host Committee, are looking for buskers to take part in their JUNOS on the CTrain program, according to an OutLoud YYC Facebook post.
The post reads:
Take your act onto Calgary CTrains during the week leading up to the JUNO Awards (March 28th to April 1st) and help us give Calgarians and out-of-town visitors an idea of the vibrant, local talent we have right here in our city.
There are limited spots, so if you are interested please email [email protected]. Be sure to include a brief description of your act, contact information and a sample of your performance. Some ideas of items for you to send along include bios, video clips, articles, photos and website links. We will be accepting submissions until March 11th. An honorarium will be paid to successful candidates for performances.
We look forward to hearing from you, and we hope that you’re as excited as we are to be part of JUNO Week and the Year of Music experience in Calgary.
So, if you’re really into busking this is your perfect chance to shine, and contribute to the fun during JUNO week.
